Repair and upgrade season is here!

We know there are a handful of products that are susceptible to needing repair throughout the season and are a good idea to repair before winterizing. Take a look at these 3 items and what we recommend for an upgrade:

Overhead lights

Overhead lights have come a long way, with many units switching to an all-LED layout. If yours is an older unit, there is a good chance that some upgraded lighting is in order. Many halogen fixtures can easily be replaced by LED options that will last much longer, providing a nice upgrade for your RV that you won’t have to worry for several years.

Shower sprayers

Chances are you’ve had a leaky shower sprayer. These things take a beating during peak RV season, and oftentimes either the button stops working, or the housing starts to separate causing those pesky leaks. The good news is that replacements are inexpensive and are a simple twist on repair. It’s worth giving these a test before storing the RV away! For exterior shower boxes also be sure to double check the latch/lock to be sure they are secure during travel.

Attune assist handle

Want a quick way to replace an assist handle, while also offering a non-wired light source at the steps? Look no further than our Attune Solar assist handle. Utilizing an included battery, you won’t need to worry about wiring up a new handle. Made of durable, waterproof molded plastic, this handle has been tested for strength, UV fading and solar cell life. Simply attach to RV substructure and you are good to go. The Attune handle is perfect for you especially if you often camp where there are no power hook ups. It gives a nice light as a waypoint but isn’t bright enough to cause any sort of light pollution where you’re at.
